Understanding the basics - Beginners to Intermediate

Our Designer Marsha has worked in all areas of fashion and has an extensive knowledge of Pattern Cutting, Manufacturing and Fabric technology skills.

There are many different levels of sewing and she aims to assist those who are beginners to intermediate.

In the sewing courses you will go through some of the below modules:

1. Understanding the different types of sewing machines.
2. Understanding fabrics and how they react.
3. Making your basic block - made to measure your body measurements.
4. Taking body measurements accurately.
5. Making toiles.
6. Finishes and finishing's.

Classes start from £15 for an hour and half class online. Due to the current pandemic no face to face classes will take place in 2020. We do hope this changes for 2021.
